For Sale: 2002 GSX-R 600 Race Bike

PRICE: $3500.00

Vehicle Description

This 2002 GSX-R600 racebike is in good condition overall.  I purchased this bike last July from the same owner as my TL1000R.  He sold both to purchase a newer GSX-R racebike to remain competitive in the supersport class in the MRA in Colorado.  Glenn bought the bike in the fall of ’05 to use during the ’06 racing season. Although this motorcycle has no title, it could easily be re-titled and turned back into a streetbike, but I have had no interest in doing so.  The previous owner had a lot of work done to the motor, essentially creating a superbike class motorcycle with a small-block motor. It was raced in the MRA series in ’06, with some success.  All motor work was done by Rex at Tri City Cycle in Colorado (over $3000).  Cosmetically, the bike could use some work, but it could be raced or used for track days without worry.  Mechanically, however, this GSX-R is rock solid.  I have never ridden another bike so capable of this high of performance.  Below is a listing of the modifications that were made:

Bored out to 638cc.

Milled, ported and polished, lightened gears and shift kit with thin head gasket.

NRC Case Covers.

Vortex clip ons, fairing stays, sprockets.

CFM Motorpsorts rearsets..

Goodridge Steel braided front and rear.

Lightened subframe.

Power Commander with custom 112 hp map!

Full Stainless Yoshimura RS-3 Exhaust.

Cheetah Bodywork.

Full Racetech front springs and valve kit.

Revalved rear shock.

GP shift kit.

Barnett Clutch kit.

NGK limited production spark plugs.

K&N Filter

Almost new EBC Sintered Brake Pads.

RK X ring chain.

Dunlop D208 GP tires.

Intuitive Ivory Frame sliders.

I also have several extra parts: levers, rearsets, fuel injection rail w/butterflies, aluminum radiator, sprockets, and some other misc. stuff.  This bike makes a ton of horsepower and pulls VERY hard out of corners.  The motor has two races and three track days on the clock.
